If You Would Kiss Me Now...

If you would kiss me now…
you would alleviate the sorrow of the love who left me,
and I could believe again.

If you would kiss me now…
I would cry of happiness more than I have ever cried of sadness,
and my soul would be filled with the hope I need.

If you would kiss me now...
my whole life would die in that precise instant,
and your lips would be the ticket to paradise.

If you would kiss me now…
I could put away the pain of that goodbye,
and embrace a hopeful hello.

If you would kiss me now…
I would understand the cost of sorrow,
and that, in spite of it, life is just.

If you would kiss me now…
we would melt the snow of this city,
and the whole world would disappear, dissolved from our passion.

If you would kiss me now…
you would heal my whole being,
and I would want to be by your side, for the rest of time

In the name of God, woman, you know the magic that would envelop us if you would kiss me?

And then…
Why won´t you kiss me now!

PS – Kisses should be magnetic, I know it. And, in this particular case, love is a matter of two extraordinary strengths that pull each other together. I want to tell you then, woman, that I am sorry. Sorry if I pushed you the wrong way. I just felt the urgency to tell you my emotions. At least this will be here, on the paper, if suddenly death takes me… and, still you haven´t kissed me.
